We spent one night at the Biu Biu Resort Bali and loved it. It's a small, intimate hotel, quiet and full of charm, with beautiful grounds, exceptional views of the cliffs and the sea, and magnificent sunsets. The terraced pools are superb, as is the beach below, although swimming can be dangerous depending on the conditions. We also had a very good meal at the bar-restaurant, in a beautiful setting. The rooms offer good value for money, although some of the finishing touches could be more refined. A truly wonderful place to stay in southern Bali.

Overall, we had a lovely stay at the Biu Biu. The rooms are large, spacious, and very clean, and are cleaned daily. The entire hotel grounds are also very well-maintained. We would particularly like to commend the staff: consistently exceptionally attentive, friendly, and chatty. The food offered is delicious and flavorful. The laundry service is also highly recommended, and it's convenient that scooters can be rented on-site. We also appreciated being able to spend the entire day by the pool after check-out, as our flight wasn't until late that night. However, some aspects didn't quite live up to the rather high price point. In some small ways, it's quite noticeable what's included and what costs extra – for example, the cappuccino included with breakfast is served in a significantly smaller cup than the cappuccino available for purchase during the day. The two offered welcome drinks are also limited to specific fruit juices. Due to concerns about Bali belly and drinks with ice cubes, this wasn't really an option for us. The so-called "hidden pool" is beautifully situated, but receives significantly less service than the main pool. While requests can be communicated via WhatsApp, a bit more attention would be appreciated at a hotel in this price range. The menu also offers relatively limited options for those who prefer to avoid fish and meat or are generally more cautious with their diet while traveling in Bali. Due to a change in our travel plans, which we notified well in advance, we had to book an additional night. Unfortunately, despite booking early, it wasn't possible to stay in the same room for the entire duration of our stay, so we had to change rooms. This meant extra effort on our part and an additional room cleaning. Given the price point, we would have appreciated more flexibility. Overall, it's a very beautiful and well-maintained property with truly excellent staff and good food. However, in our opinion, there is room for improvement regarding the value for money and a few minor details.

The only thing we struggled a bit is the transport, because the resort lies on a bit isolated road, which often has lost of traffic to the Uluwatu centre or other nearby parts of u want to explore more. The hotel staff was extremely courteous; whenever I had an issue with the room and sent a message via WhatsApp, they replied immediately, which was a huge help. The room itself featured a unique design resembling a luxurious tent; I could clearly hear the waves, creating a genuine sense of immersion in nature. I had requested a special arrangement, and upon arrival, I found a handwritten note displayed in the room. The message was truly heartwarming, and I was so glad I had made the request. The restaurant offered an open, airy atmosphere where we enjoyed delicious food and pleasant service, along with magnificent views of both the sunrise and sunset. We drove a rental car to Biu Biu Resort Bali. The roads near the hotel are mostly single-lane or one-way and lack traffic signs; visibility is poor when vehicles approach from both directions, making it quite time-consuming to pass one another. The decor and the layout of the restaurant is very impressive. The service was very good and the food was even better. Very nice music was playing in the background which was enjoyable but not too loud as to interfere with our conversation. I would recommend this restaurant to all. The surprise benefit was they accept credit cards which we found very rare on our trip. Yes. We arrange private airport transfers on request (additional cost, from IDR 400,000 — rates may vary with demand). The drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic, so you can settle in and let the escape begin the moment you land.

Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out is by 12:00 noon. Our front office is open 24/7, so whether you land at sunrise or need something in the middle of the night, our team is always here for you.

Traveling on a budget? If you would rather use a ride-hailing app, Grab and Gojek drivers can meet you with a short 200-meter walk from our entrance to the main road — simply set that spot as your pickup point, and you are on your way.
Or take the wheel. For independent explorers, a scooter is the easiest way to see the Bukit, and we can arrange a rental from IDR 100,000 per day. A few rules keep the adventure a good one: always wear a helmet, carry a valid driving license (an international permit for most visitors), ride with proper travel and accident insurance, and take the roads gently — they can be narrow and busy.
